"Open your eyes thoroughly”, my mother used to tell me, as she took me outside to the Nature near our house on Mt. Carmel.

This command, which challenged me as a young girl, has turned into the Motto of my life. I practice watching, observing the world that surrounds me, striving to see both outside and inside.

My painting is an expression of a search for the unique, within the familiar sights around me.

This “revelation”, of something I found, which delicately asked, or mightily demanded, or insisted without letting go – is the cause to begin the painting.

The inquiry of “how” to express this uniqueness – is the workmanship.
